I named this blog after realising I would come home from work and walk straight outside into the garden. My garden gets love only after work and on the weekends, and I want to share my efforts in building a garden with minimal time and money, with maximum results… cross your fingers for me!

I love your site. Keep it up !
Hi there
I was wondering if I would be able to get a contact email address? I work for a sydney based public relations company and i’m updating our media contacts and blog sites. We have clients that have relevent features on gardening, and we would love to be able to send you them. Also if I could find out what state or region you are based in that would be amazing too.
Thankyou

I love this blog Leisa and i do exactly the same… a walk around the first thing in the morning and after work is the one thing guaranteed to make me happy…
Hi Leisa, I came across your blog via Twitter. My sister has just moved to Sydney so I sent the URL to her. I garden too (though I don’t attempt to grow much to eat) and it’s interesting to see the contrast between what grows in a Scottish garden and what grows in a Sydney garden. I would have trouble growing anything that’s not frost resistant, however much I crave purple Abyssinian bananas, birds of paradise or trumpet vines!

PS Gardening in heels is a great title. And makes me think perhaps I ought to start my own gardening blog.
